The Oval Portrait is a setting of Edgar Allen Poe’s short story and the action sees us taken us to a remote castle where a visitor arrives and is disturbed by the portrait of a young woman. As her husband painted her, the picture came alive - while she lived on only in his art...

Mozart’s The Impresario is a light-hearted take on the dilemma theatre companies face when dealing with divas. Set in the present day, Mark Burns’ new English translation shows us just how much things haven’t changed in the 230 years since this piece was first premiered.
